three species of death’s head hawkmoths (genus: acherontia): a.atropos, a.lachesis, a.styx. it drives me crazy that the triad’s incomplete with the naming of “styx” instead of “clotho.” + i’m teaching a wrinkle in time, in which mrs.which quotes macbeth, so last week i went off on a tangent about the three witches and the greek moirae. to name is to know & words matter!
